Scout Fire Camp 2014 - Making Puppy Chow for Mug Up

With Christmas coming, this is a simple treat that satisfies a sweet tooth… and yes, it really does look like kibble.

Puppy Chow
Based on a recipe from Allrecipes.com

• 9 cups Crispix cereal
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1  1/2 cups icing sugar

- In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.  Mix until smooth
- Remove from heat and add cereal.  Stir until coated
- Pour powdered sugar into a large ziploc bag, add coated cereal and shake until well coated 
- If it doesn't get eaten by hungry Scouts during movie night, store in an airtight container in a cool spot
