Ask any Scout what their favourite lunch is, and Travellin' Tacos (aka Taco in a Bag) is high on their list. After all, we put Doritos in this dish. Who wouldn't want chips for lunch?
Plus, when you walk into Great Edmonton Camp with a case of Doritos, you get a lot of envious looks from other the campers.
On a side note, this is one of those dishes that works well for a troop as the youth can assemble the meal as they see fit. Don't like lettuce...no problem, have some extra tomatoes. Don't like sour cream....no problem, have some extra salsa. Don't like any veggies... no problem, have some watermelon....It is very customizable and suits most tastes. Bring a small bottle of Tabasco Sauce and even your chili heads will be happy.
